- 1 lb mushroom
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup light cream
- 4 slices bread, crusts trimmed off
- 3 tablespoons butter
Recipe
- 1 slice mushrooms.
- 2 in a skillet, melt 3 tablespoons butter. when butter is foaming, add sliced mushrooms; stir them well for 1 minute to coat thoroughly with butter.
- 3 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 4 add cream and simmer gently for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5 to make garnish, cut each slice of bread into 4 triangles.
- 6 melt butter in a skillet and saute triangles on each side, until slightly browned.
