Potato Spring Onion Bread

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 2 medium potatoes, cooked,mashed
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 spring onions, finely sliced
  • cooking spray

Recipe

  • 1 place flour, spring onions, potatoes, and baking powder in food processor or large bowl.
  • 2 knead for 2 minutes.
  • 3 add a little water if mixture is too dry.
  • 4 wrap dough in cling film and allow to rest for 30 minutes.
  • 5 divide dough into 2 pieces.
  • 6 roll into rounds of 18-20cm diameter.
  • 7 combine the 3 oils and brush tops of dough rounds.
  • 8 spray a non-stick frying pan with oil spray.
  • 9 cook each dough round for 3 minutes each side, brushing with flavoured oil.
  • 10 when bread is golden remove from pan, cut into slices.
