Hot Cranberry Butter

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh cranberries or 2 cups frozen cranberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
Recipe
- 1 in a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, granulated sugar and water; bring to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves.
- 2 reduce heat and continue to cook until berries pop; approximately 5 minutes.
- 3 stir in the brown sugar and butter; heat until dissolved. serve warm on french toast or my favorite gingerbread waffles.
