Hot Cranberry Butter

Total Time: 13 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries or 2 cups frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, granulated sugar and water; bring to a boil and stir until sugar dissolves.
  • 2 reduce heat and continue to cook until berries pop; approximately 5 minutes.
  • 3 stir in the brown sugar and butter; heat until dissolved. serve warm on french toast or my favorite gingerbread waffles.
